FTC, 20 States Sue Dollar General
The Federal Trade Commission and 20 states allege the 21,000-store discount chain routinely charged shoppers more at the register than shelf, tag and advertised prices, extracting millions in overcharges. Dollar General says occasional discrepancies can occur.
